Weekly update for may 15th-21st
Weekly bullet points:
I spent my last day in Short Hills, New Jersey and I'm for sure going to miss that place! The members are awesome. I'm now serving in Bayonne New Jersey and it's a Spanglish branch. Meaning there are both Spanish and English people in the branch. Around 40 Spanish and 20 English members. Our church is in the back of a convenient store and it's what used to be a laundry mat.
Our church is soooo tiny! It only holds 72 people.
VICTOR CASTELLO was baptized!! I got to drive back to Short Hills with the Jersey City Elders car and got to baptize Victor. It was such a spiritual experience. One that I'll never forget. I'm so proud of the decision he made and I know he will be a solid member in the church.

We got rejected multiple times, but many were willing to listen and invite us back! There are lots of Mexicans and Dominicans here. I've been fed so much this week! It's great! I've gotta start working out harder haha.
We had district meeting up in Jersey City so we had to take the train half way and meet up with other Elders who gave us a ride. That reminds me! We take the bus or train nearly every day a couple of times!
I've been working on cleaning the house because the missionary I replaced just went home and left like half of his stuff and didn't care about cleaning at all.
The bike he left me was broken so I had to take it to get it fixed and the guy who was working on my bike was going to charge me $25 but then when I went to pay he said, "Are you guys Mormon?" I proudly said, "Yes sir". And then he said, "Just give me $20". I was so happy it was such a blessing. He then asked if I had a Book of Mormon on me so I happily gave him one and he asked what he owed me haha I obviously said nothing! That's what we do as missionaries.
The week was great! I saw so many blessings and I've really been trying to work on listening to the sprit! I invite you all to do the same! Also my mom will be having her surgery for her cancer this Thursday so would you all keep her in your daily prayers! I know that there is strength in numbers! I love you all so much and hope you have a great week!! ❤️❤️
