Email - I Got a Rolex....Well kind of

Weekly update for June 12th-17th 

Howdy! ''Twas a great week! Hope you enjoy! 

We stayed most of the day in Newark since we had to stay with an Elder who's companion was going to the Statue of Liberty since he was going home soon. So we did laundry, shopped and played ball in church clothes. Good time!

I went on an exchange to Jersey City/ Greenville and it was a good time. I was with Elder Doria a Filipino missionary. We got some dinner from a member who works at a corner store.  It was a good sandwich! The bike I had to ride while I was there was poop. The seat hurt so bad. 

We knocked a LOT of doors and found a few cool people to teach. Knocking doors works. 

A member gave me a fake Rolex! They said they will be getting me some fake glasses soon too.. :) You can tell it's fake but it also looks pretty real! 

When we taught English class we had like 25 people there! It was so awesome!

 People are way more willing to listen to us teach them English than the gospel. But we are teaching like 3 of the families from there! We actually have 1 of the families on date! They are a super cool Dominican family of 3. The only problem is that the wife works on Sundays. We told her that if she reads from the Book of Mormon every day that she would find a new job that doesn't require her to work on Sundays. She really liked that! I have faith that the lord will provide! 

We did TAC since it was the last week of the transfer! The house is nice and clean now! Also talking about transfers... my beloved comp Elder Decker will be leaving me and I will be staying here in Bayonne.

I will be getting another Elder that I came in with. His name is Elder Kelly and he is from New Mexico. 1st comp not from Utah. Wow! Also I was called to be a District Leader... I'm pretty nervous about having more responsibilities but I'm sure it will be good for me!
